So, I know I said I wasn't going to post again but here I am..... Things are totally hectic! I have to get my ho use clean because I have people coming over and staying with us for the week. One is already here, two more are coming on Wednesday night and then I need to find room for more new stuff!
I had the last bridal shower on Saturday and it was sooooo fantastic!! I had a bunch of family members come and celebrate with me, and my fantastic Namine (my highschool buddy whom I LOVE!!!) and I made vietnamese veggie roles (if I was thinking I would have posted photos) and a pasta dish I can't remember. But I had so much fun and it was great to hang out and have friends mixed in with family!!!
Tonight I plan on finishing up laundry, watching my fiance and his friend get trashed (which will be entertaining) and vacuum, mop and the list goes on!!!!
Hope everyone is happy and great out there!!!

Still Kicking
Sorry Everyone that I have been neglecting this blog for a week but things have been soooo busy here. After today I don't know when I'll be able to post again if at all before the wedding (which is in 9 days!!). But in a nut shell here is what I have been up to:
1. Bridal shower on the weekend
2. Wrote thank you notes for the bridal shower
3. Worked and trying to find gifts a home
4. Laundry
5. Help out a not-for profit organization that I on the board for (do treasurer stuff)
6. Take my fiance supper to work
7. Attempt to sleep
8. Try not to die from a cold that I inherited (knocked me on my feet all night, my fever was so high my fiance had to come home from work because I couldn't walk)
9. Cleaned my house for company that is staying with us for the wedding
10. Had brunch and supper with fiances sister, her boyfriend and grandmother (which was so much fun!!!)
11. Take things down to the Salvation Army
12. Clean out storage under stairs to make room for the new
13. Had supper with my family to talk about final things for wedding
14. Avoid the stalker
And I almost certain I forget a couple of things in that list. So as you can see my week has been jam packed and I hardly had time to breath/ sleep. But I do have some good news!!! We did decide on w here we are going for our honeymoon!! We're going to Canmore!!!! Click Here to Learn more!! We have our own condo that has outdoor hot tubs, and a two person soaker. We are staying for five days and we're only paying $500! I am so excited for this because this means that we can go white water rafting, maybe on a helicopter tour, and go hiking on the Three Sisters and I am going to see about getting a massage and just relax!!! I cannot wait!!!
I am excited for t he wedding but it still feels so surreal! I cannot believe that it is actually coming and that it's going to happen. My fiance and I have been together for so long and we have been talking about marriage basically for the entire time we've been together that I can't believe that it's real; that is until I walk down that aisle.

Disappointment?!
So, I am trying sooooooo hard not to get disappointed in things right now. My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon, most people would be excited to do this. We are to, but I am trying to be as cheap as possible ( i mean like week under 500 cheap) and my fiance wants to celebrate the fact that we just got married, and I do too, I just don't wanna have to break the bank to do it.
The reason I came to this conclusion is this, we are currently behind on our bills, not a lot but behind. We will be almost caught up with this upcoming pay period. We will have about 1000 to spend on our honeymoon, not alot of wiggle room. There is this awesome resort that will cost us about $1000 for three days (did you gasp here? I sure as hell did) but it includes EVERYTHING to food, we get champagne, chocolates and a jacuzzi room and it's in the Okanagan Valley. So my fiance and I had a small fight because that's our entire budget gone in three days and we booked off the entire week. So after I left to come back home (I visited him at work) it hit kinda hit me that bills will always be there, they will always expect money month after month after month, money will leave and it will come back again. Some months more money comes in than it goes out, but you will only get married once. So I kinda thought that why don't we splurge for the three days and then come home and relax? We can go for picnics, midnight walks and play video games and probably get drunk. Or hell even take a very detoured way of getting home and see what happens. I'm trying not to ruin what is supposed to be the happiest day of my life over something that is going to come and go periodically.
