Honeymoon

Hello Everyone,

I have not neglected you... I have been so unbelievably busy which sucks because I've lost about half of my readers because I haven't been able to update this blog as much as I would like. But the wedding has gone off without a hitch, and the best part is I DIDN'T CRY!!! My now husband did swell up with tears in his eyes though, it was so cute!!! The party afterwards was killer and had a lot of fun! We had a candy station and i will post pictures of this when I get to see the pictures! The day after was a little stressful and my vehicle was packed full of gifts that we had to find room for our groomsman that was supposed to come with us but we just had enough room for the two of us!! It was crazy!!! The next day we headed off to Canmore to begin our honeymoon and we went for a long walk along the town. The honeymoon was short lived sadly as the next morning we were called home to take care of our flooding basement.....Thankfully when we got there the only thing that was damaged was the carpets and we caught it in time (thanks to our roommate) and we were able to get most of the water using a shop vac. We had to crank the heat in the house so that the water would evaporate out of the carpets, so it was a sauna in our house!!! It worked out though because we were planning on going to the hot springs in Banff anyways!!! The next day we took a chance and came back up to Canmore (we are so sick of that highway) to try and finish our honeymoon. So far we haven't got a panicked phone call from our roommate again so I hope that all will be well.
